ERU offers a host of data communications products that seamlessly integrate into digital communication networks
compliant with international communication standards. Our systems are designed to generate robust reliability, logical functionality, and social ergonomics. Currently,
ERU is developing product solutions for the energy, automotive and broadcasting industries.
FM-RDS technology advocated by ERU has now been proposed as a new building code (Title 24) default method to communicate real-time demand response
information to all newly installed thermostats starting in 2009 in California buildings. This method helps reduce the energy consumption of HVAC systems by controlling
temperatures.
ERU is actively working with radio broadcasters, thermostat and home automation companies, UC Berkeley, the California Energy Commission and the California
ISO to further develop this technology.
ERU’s technology is also used by data delivery channels such as radio broadcasters, to produce and disseminate a variety of real time information like news,
weather, sports results, and spot advertising.
